4/2023:
Samantha Bernstein, '28 won the Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC) Cross-Cultural Student Paper Award for her final paper in her first year Multicultural and Diversity Topics course entitled “Autonomy at the End of Life: Perspectives from Disability Studies and Individuals with Disabilities.” She was invited to present a poster at the 2023 ADEC conference in Columbus, Ohio.
8/2022:
Tara Agneshwar ‘24 was the recipient of the American Psychological Association Division 36 Student Research Award which facilitates student research on the psychology of religion and spirituality. 9/3/2022: Statement on YU Actions to Block LGBTQ+ Student Group
Yeshiva University filed an application for emergency relief to the US Supreme Court, asking the Court to block a lower court order requiring the University to recognize an undergraduate LGTBQ+ student group. The University's policies and legal actions regarding these students and LGBTQ+ concerns do not reflect the values, ethics, and policies of Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology or the work done in this research lab which is committed to LGBTQ+ affirming and inclusive learning environments, research, and care.
